When it comes to any bad comments about the SWHRT9B, I would recommend that you need to know what to expect and conduct your own research before purchasing.

It’s razor sharp on both edges, the center of balance is just where it should be, and the sheath is quite secure, constructed entirely of leather with a tight clasp.

When sheathing this knife, keep your fingers away from the blade.

the only modification I would suggest is wrap the handle in 550pc. I don’t think anything further is required until the blade’s powder coating begins to flake off.

The drawback

Many knife producers are now covering their knives with a harsh black finish made of sand mixed with paint. Despite the additional texture, the blade is just around 1/8th of an inch thick.

The handle is made of firm rubber that has a slimy or slick sensation to it. Put some O-rings in the grooves of the handle to aid with this.

The sheath is well-made and features the Smith & Wesson brand and name on the clip, however it falls short in that the knife blade might be slid into one of the TWO slits on the top of the sheath by accident.

What is its use?

It’s odd. But, in some aspects, it’s a hybrid knife. It’s a knife that may be used for self-defense, EDC, or throwing. Now, this may be a LITTLE impractical, but you can use it for pretty about everything.
